Unfortunately, there is no shortcut to clear the clipboard. In this topic, we will see how to create a shortcut icon to do the job. Right-click on the desktop, point to New and click Shortcut. This action displays the Create Shortcut dialog box. In the Type the location of the item text box, type cmd /c "echo off | clip" and then click Next. Give a name to the shortcut and click Finish. Now, you just have to double-click this shortcut to empty the clipboard.
